The Eternal City

The Eternal City

The Colosseum. The Spanish Steps. The Lupa Wolf. The Vatican. La Dolce Vita.

Rome can mean so many things to so many people. It is a city full of superlatives. For me, it provides one of my earliest memories of visiting family in Rome. I remember the beauty, the sunshine and the pizza! I also remember the beach, not usually what is associated with Rome but Rome really has it all – for foodies, for believers, for fashionistas, for art lovers and lovers of ancient history, for dreamers and coffee afficionados, Rome has something for everyone and this is why I have been again and again and no doubt will go again and again. The Flower market and the Pantheon are always worth a visit and the numerous eateries in Trastevere are always destinations.
